Launched into Wind and Sun

The air is cool and stagnant, and I feel I have been kept in storage here too long. Perhaps when I'm let out, launched into wind and sun, I may disintegrate entirely, like the flowers found on ancient young Tutankhamen's tomb, which crumbled when time flooded in through the broken door.


A quote from "The Stone Angel," which, according to my mom, is an awful and boring book. Anyways, for my art process exam I chose it to make a painting out of. I, er, had never heard of the book before so hopefully my painting isn't boring and dreadful. xD

Took 5h 40min, and is made with acrylic paints and some chalk pastels. :> Thanks to *Dozaloz for crit when this was in progress~
