Griffon on the Rocks

For a trade with - a Griffon! Or Gryphon. Or Griffin. Or however you want to spell it. Too many ways! x_x

I had fun mucking around with the colours... came out well, IMO, but for the life of me I couldn't get the rocks looking decent. x_x Damn strata... ah well.

I know the wings have errors! So don't comment about that, please. Feathered wings are so hard for me to draw! And I couldn't find a decent ref for an eagle with its wings spread, either. I did use refs for the head and lion body, though.
