Mr Hayden Rosencranz, superhero character of =meoshira~!

This pic started out as something for fun, then I wanted to see if I could make something neat of it. Composition's not greeeaaat but good enough. Fog = me not being being able to do the legs well in perspective. But, the torso, head & hair & other head all came out very well, methinks. I was REALLY unsure of the hair until it was matched up with the sideburns & such (they were on separate layers), but when it came together I squee'd with delight. X3

I went for the red backlighting 'cause Hayden is/was in *Ebon-Spire-OCT, which is like... ALL red... and also 'cause I initially did it for kicks and thought it looked awesome. XD Also complements the green and doesn't look too christmasy. ^^;

Hopefully, the colours don't look too weird on other monitors. I started off with grey then added colour on overlay layers, but I used plenty of adjustment layers to add pop here and there and all over.


Time unknown, but worked on and off for about 5 days. All in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and an Intuos3 tablet.

Holy cow; that's amazing! The hair is pants-flippingly gorgeous. It's got so much form to it, yet still has loads of detail. And I love how the red backlighting kinda shines through the hair, not just on it.

Fffff, to epic for words. D8

Though I think the skin would have looked a tad more lively if the shadows were a little redder; seems to be just a tad monotone.

But who cares!? *Runs off to fave*

Yeah, I had used an adjustment layer to bring out more red in those shadows. The thing is, my monitor displays darker colours more saturated than PC monitors, so it's hard for me to judge. XD
